Notes

This year's design relies heavily on variable fonts with almost no graphical elements. It invites users to play around with font width and weight to achieve versatile patterns and styles.

To play around with font weight, try using variable strand counts! Standard cross stich skeins come with four strands each. To achieve a thin font, use one strand. For an ultra font, try using four or more strands. This works especially well for back stitches. Font weight changes can be used per word, per character or gradually per line for interesting effects.

Colors

Like in print, the bright and vibrant colors are very hard to replicate. I've included some suggestions that look good on dark cloth.
