DESY invites you on a journey into the world of the smallest particles and shows things in a completely different light. Book a journey through time into the universe and take an X-ray look at the technology of tomorrow. The tour takes you through the experimental halls of the PETRA III X-ray source to the HERA-B particle physics experiment, which is located at what used to be Germany's largest particle accelerator. During the winter shutdown, there is also the rare opportunity to get a glimpse behind otherwise closed doors.

- Accessibility: The tour is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. During the tour, many stairs and approx. 10,000 steps must be walked. For safety reasons, children and young people under the age of 12 are not permitted to take part.
